This handwoven willow shoulder basket is both practical and elegant. The gently tapered shape sits comfortably against the body and the strong solid weave holds its contents securely. The soft leather strap is finished with reinforced stitching and copper rivets for lasting strength and comfort. Please note the strap is non-adjustable.

Ideal for carrying everyday essentials, or a daily packed lunch. It’s also great for creative ventures, a place to keep a sketchbook and pencils, or a knitting project you can’t leave behind!

The main framework of this basket is woven with Dicky Meadows willow, a soft-toned green variety traditionally grown for finer baskets due to its strong and slender nature. With a selection of additional willow varieties to create a colour-changing pattern.

Size: Basket – 32cm length x 20cm width across the base, tapering to 26cm length x 16cm width at the border.  Height is 19cm at the lowest point and 22cm height at the highest point. Leather strap – 103cm length.
