This handwoven willow basket is a useful size for all sorts of everyday purposes. Its sturdy, round shape and strong handle make it ideal for gathering and carrying, or its small size means it also works well as a storage basket around the home.
The name Hantle comes from an old Scots word meaning a considerable amount or a good many – a fitting name for a basket with a hantle of uses!
Made with Dicky Meadows and a band of Oxford Violet willows.
Suggested uses include a harvest or foraging basket, a kitchen utensil basket, or onion and garlic storage in the kitchen, a child’s first basket, a clothes peg basket, a small knitting project basket, a tool basket, or a gardening tool basket.
